The new route will link Sharjah International Airport with Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport five times weekly, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This addition offers another direct UAE route to northern Poland and broadens Air Arabia’s scheduled flight network within the country. Flights on Mondays and Saturdays, G9 0628, will depart from Sharjah at 4 p.m. and reach Gdansk by 8 p.m. The return, G9 0629, will leave Gdansk at 8:50 p.m., arriving in Sharjah at 6:10 a.m. the following day. On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, flights will depart Sharjah at 8:15 a.m., with returns from Gdansk at 1:05 p.m. arriving in Sharjah at 10:25 p.m. All times mentioned are local.
Once operational, Gdansk will become Air Arabia’s fourth Polish destination from Sharjah, joining Krakow and Warsaw Chopin Airport. The airline will also introduce four weekly flights to Katowice starting Dec. 17, 2026, operating on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. These new routes, together with the existing services, will extend Air Arabia’s direct flight options within Poland beyond its current two-city network.
Gdansk Joins Air Arabia’s Growing Polish Network
The Gdansk route is part of Air Arabia’s broader European flight schedule from Sharjah. Its destinations include Milan Bergamo, Munich, Vienna, Athens, Prague, Krakow, Warsaw Chopin, London Gatwick, and Rome. Frankfurt and Katowice are also planned as upcoming additions. Gdansk provides a new port on Poland’s Baltic coast, offering travelers in the Pomeranian region a direct scheduled connection to the UAE via Sharjah.

The airport serves as a transfer hub for destinations in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and East Africa, covering the wider Tri-City area, which encompasses Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot, along with other northern Polish communities.
Sharjah-Gdansk Route Will Operate Five Times Weekly
Air Arabia’s fleet, consisting of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, will operate this route. Reservations are now open through the airline’s website, call center, and travel agencies. The schedule designates G9 0628 and G9 0629 for flights on Mondays and Saturdays. Flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays will be scheduled as G9 0626 from Sharjah and G9 0627 from Gdansk. These five weekly rotations will provide nonstop connections in both directions between the two airports.
The Gdansk service, launching on Dec. 14, will precede the start of Air Arabia’s Katowice route by three days. With existing connections to Krakow and Warsaw from Sharjah, the upcoming December routes will bring Air Arabia’s Polish destinations to a total of four cities. The timetable indicates five weekly nonstop flights in each direction for the Sharjah-Gdansk route.
